The Mk V builds evolve everything we loved about the Mk IV. Each one is handcrafted from reclaimed bamboo table legs, paired with an obeche body and finished with sleek black hardware. While every Devil Stick follows the same core design, no two are ever identical. Toby and Daniel hand-shape, sand, and finish every instrument, giving each one its own character.
Every Mk V comes fitted with a custom handwound single-coil pickup and is professionally set up to use either a standard guitar low E or high B string. Swapping between the two takes only moments, allowing you to choose the voice and feel that suits your playing.

Fret markers on the face, side, or both
Individually hand-shaped and finished

For the finish, we're combining our favourite elements from previous generations. The Mk V will feature the red stained body of the Mk III, protected with the water-based matt clear coat introduced on the Mk IV. If you had the chance to play the Devil Sticks at the recent guitar shows, you'll know just how good this finish feels in the hand. It's durable, smooth, and lets the wood shine without feeling overly glossy.
Production begins in late September, with an estimated build time of around three months, meaning your Devil Stick should be with you in time for Christmas.
